All About Me

In room 6’s Cybersmart lesson we created About Me poster’s. First thing we our Cybersmart teacher told us to click something that said click me so we click it and showed a poster and it said all about me. Mr Hughes told us to make our own poster so we did we started to fined a photo of us and add on our poster. Next we wrote about ourselves.

ANZAC Day

ANZAC represents the words Australia, New Zealand, Army Corps and we celebrate ANZAC Day on the 25th of April every year. We remember all the soldiers who went a long way from home to fight in wars. We make poppies because all of the soldiers who died and the graves were surrounded by beautiful red flowers  that are called poppies.

We made poppies so we don’t forget the soldiers who fought in the wars. First  our teacher printed a see-through outline of the poppy and then we had to cut out small pieces of red cellophane paper and stick them on the petals like a stained glass window. We coloured in the middle of the flower and Mrs Agnew hung them on the classroom window. I liked making my poppy.

Cloudy Day

Today is a cloudy day. On a cloudy day the wind is still. The leaves are not fluttering and rustling. The sun vanishes behind the clouds. The sky looks dull and I feel cold without the sun.

Trip to Carl’s Jr

During the holidays My family and I went to Carl’s Jr. Mum ordered ice cream and chicken. The ice cream was creamy and sweet. The nuggets were crispy. My sister had a hamburger with pickles and tomatoes. I chose water because it’s healthy for me. I was exhausted so we went back home and went to bed.
